The 17th is a beautiful par 4 that doglegs from left to right. A pair of bunkers cut across the fairway diagonally – with only the nearest one visible from the tee. Out of bounds stakes run down the right hand side of this hole for almost it’s entirety.

If you negotiate the tee shot successfully you’ll be left with a challenging approach shot to a narrow green that sits slightly below the fairway and has 2 distinct levels sloping from back to front. Don’t overshoot this green as the rear is significantly raised with steep banks on 3 sides making chipping particularly dangerous.

A superb golf course with excellent, true greens. The mature trees add something else to the challenges. Also, the staff were very friendly and efficient. A great golf day out.

Loved my round here! Tee’ed off at 8am and didn’t see a sinner until the 16th green. Beautiful mature course with each hole presenting its own challenge (but still doable for a 18hcp’er like me). Enjoy!
