Club PGA Professional – Mark Peat
Mark joined Coollattin Golf Club in April 2023 as club PGA Professional, a role in which he is honoured to have and excited to be given. Mark has previously worked at Dun Laoghaire Golf Club as a teaching professional & custom fitting specialist, McGuirks Golf as a custom fitting specialist, several clubs in the Dublin area as a teaching professional and trained as an assistant professional at Bray GC.
Mark qualified in 2014 as a PGA professional. Originally from Southwest Scotland Mark moved to Ireland in 2009 to pursue a career in professional golf.
Mark is heavily involved with get in to golf for ladies and junior golfers and he currently presides over the junior golf program in Coollattin. Over the past five years Mark has had over 250 ladies participate in beginner ladies’ classes at various clubs in the Dublin area.
Mark’s philosophy with coaching is that ‘not one swing fits all’ and with the right guidance and the right approach all golfers can achieve their golfing goals.
