Another beautiful and challenging hole awaits you with the picturesque 14th. This is a dogleg to the left where there is a big premium on the accuracy of your drive.
From the tee you’ll see a funnell of trees in the distance surrounding what looks to be quite a generous fairway. Don’t be fooled as you only really have the right half of that fairway to aim at as tall trees on the left will block you out of the green if you don’t have the right angle. The fairway sits well below the tee on this hole and the further you go, the steeper the slope gets which again plays into the hands of the big hitters.
This is a hole of 2 halves and while the first half of the hole plays downhill, the second is back uphill to a sheltered green surrounded by majestic Coollattin Oak. The green is cut into a side slope meaning that you might get some help if you go left with your approach but anything right will leave a difficult chip to a green raised above you.
The green slopes gently from back to front and is relatively flat compared to other greens on the course. That said, it is one of the bigger greens at Coollattin.
