This monster par 5 is the longest hole on the course and more often than not will play into the prevailing wind. By Coollattin standards, the driving area is quite generous with plenty of room to the left. The further left you go however, the steeper the slope from right to left is which will encourage a second shot to the left also.
The green will be out of reach here for the vast majority of golfers so the lay up is important. You may find that you’ll have more than an iron in your hand for your third shot on the 10th from time to time such is it’s length. If you do have a long shot for your third, beware of the pond to the left of the green as the contours of the land will happily direct any wayward shots to a watery grave.
The green is one of the more severe in Coollattin with 2 distinct levels connected together by a steep slope – finding the right level with your approach is crucial on this hole.
