The 6th is a relatively straight par 5 but some of Coollattin’s finest trees will ask some difficult questions as you make your way towards the green. A good drive will get you across the road to a flat fairway. Some big hitters might get within range of the green in 2 but will need to hit a very accurate right-to-left shape to hold a green very well protected on the left by trees and on the right by a severe side slope.

Most mortals will be laying up here. The lay up is not straight forward however as anything on the left hand side of the fairway will be blocked out by tall trees and anything on the right will have to deal with a big tree with overhanging branches. That said if you are going to err here, do so on the right as getting caught in the trees on the left could spell disaster.

Assuming that you hit a good approach shot you’ll be left with a pitch to one of the bigger greens on the course with a big hump dividing the green in half from back to front. Make sure that you find the correct side of this hump with your approach as failing to do so could leave you with a very difficult 2 putt.
